Friel films is a feature film production company headquartered in Michigan. We have a ten year history of developing quality feature and documentary films for the world market.
Lolly hails from Minnesota where she earned her BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota. While there, she also participated in an overseas program in London and Stratford where she interned and studied with the RSC.
Lolly began Line Producing in 1996 on a “short” 53 minute film entitled, BLOOD CHEMISTRY starring Alex Rocco, Christopher Rich and Anthony Starke. Next, she was hired to produce her first feature-length film, ANDREA’S FAULT which was brought in a day early and under budget. Upon seeing her work, Lolly was hired to produce her second film, THE CHAMELEON, for Friel Films, starring Seymour Cassel and shot entirely in Michigan. She also produced another short film for actress-turned-director Murphy Cross entitled, BLINDERS, which was made to raise money and awareness for the homeless in Los Angeles and won a gold medal at the Houston Film Festival. Lolly completed principle photography on another independent film entitled, REDEMPTION which starred the writing/acting team of Brent Briscoe and Mark Fauser (WAKING UP IN RENO, MADISON). As a liason between first and second unit directors, Lolly worked on Disney’s, THE HAUNTED MANSION starring Eddie Murphy and Terence Stamp.
Lolly has recently produced A HAUNTING IN CAWDOR. It is the second picture she has produced for FRIEL FILMS.
